I am so thrilled to bring you Exciting Piece of New part 1!
OMG! I’ve signed a 3 book deal with Century Books, an imprint of Penguin.
Back in 2020 when I signed with my agent, I said to her that my dream publisher would be Penguin. And… six years later. here we are. Yay.
They do say that publishing is a lot of patience, perseverance, and pain (maybe I added the pain bit, but…) and I can attest to that. And it’s not like I’ve been twiddling my thumbs for the last half a decade (what!). I’ve been incredibly lucky to sign some amazing deals both here and abroad that I’m really proud of, as well as self-publishing my crime series.
But to see my name next to a penguin, it’s a pinch-me moment.
Some of you might recognise the name and cover as THE LOCKED WARD was initially my first self-published stand alone. And the team at Century loved it so much they asked for paperback rights. So my agent did some negotiations and as well as this one, I’m going to write 2 more (and hopefully more after that) psychological thrillers.
And huge thanks to my publishing team and agency as I can still write O’Malley & Swift alongside, yay.
